This scheme offers a fantastic opportunity for schools and education establishments to support the transition to electric vehicles (EVs) by providing financial assistance towards the purchase, installation, and infrastructure of electric vehicle charge points. ## Here's what you need to know: **What is the Workplace Charging Scheme?** The Workplace Charging Scheme is a grant initiative aimed at supporting the adoption of electric vehicles by enabling the installation of EV charge points in workplace settings. State-funded schools and education institutions are eligible to participate in this scheme, allowing them to install electric vehicle charge point sockets at their site(s).
